Smarter Shows is a vibrant and dynamic business-to-business exhibition and conference company based in the centre of Brighton. We are seeking a Sponsorship & Advertising Sales Manager with a proven track record in B2B sales, generating leads and selling to key stakeholders.
The Sales Manager is responsible for developing, growing and retaining existing exhibitors and sponsors and to identify and introduce new business in accordance with the strategic goals of the events. This role is focused on managing your own sales pipeline and increasing revenue generation through sponsorships, advertising and delegate pass sales. You will be a versatile thinker with an ability to research the industries the event serves and, more importantly, identify decision makers and build long term relationships. You will be experienced in building your own client base by researching, cold-calling and building new business leads to convert.
As a Sales Manager you will work with the Conference Portfolio Director and have input on the overall sales strategy of the event, whilst managing your own clients. Working in events, it goes without saying you will be a natural multitasker who thrives under pressure and enjoys working as part of a dynamic, ambitious and target-focused team.
