The much-anticipated Foam Expo Europe Conference agenda has been announced, packed with expert speakers, focused panel sessions and the most pertinent themes across the industry.
The conference is spread across three days and split into two tracks. Comprehensive in scope, the full agenda explores areas both broad and niche, drilling into relevant topics within trends and standards, applications and sustainability, as well as manufacturing processes and performance optimisation. Industry-leading speakers are billed for each session to share their perspectives and expertise on developments, innovations and projections within the foam industry. Evonik’s Alexander Roth will speak on this topic, giving specific focus to the design and manufacture of engine cowling doors in the aerospace industry. Roth says his presentation will include a cost and weight analysis of different designs and manufacturing methods and will offer recommendations of the most efficient designs of engine cowling doors for future aircraft. It will also explore how the case study on these doors might be transferred to similar applications within the aerospace industry.
Elsewhere, our expert panels will debate how to improve the fire safety of foams with flame retardants while ensuring performance; evaluate end-of-life solutions for closed-loop foam manufacturing; highlight how to economise foam processing; and identify end-user performance requirements to determine opportunities within material innovation.
